The Marion County Chamber of Commerce was recognized in seven categories by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives at their Annual Conference in Frankfort September 20-21, 2018. Marion County was awarded First Place in all seven categories in their division. The Marion County Chamber was recognized for Best Special Event (2017 Marion County Country Ham Days); Best Special Publication (75th Anniversary Membership Directory); Best E-publication (Monthly Newsletter); Best Website; Best Social Media; Best in Membership Retention; and Best in Membership Growth.
Established in 1965, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) is the society of chamber of commerce professionals in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As a not-for-profit division of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the primary goal of KCCE is to serve its membership by providing quality professional development, networking, resource exchange opportunities and grassroots advocacy. KCCE provides technical assistance, onsite consultation and training to local chambers on organizational and operational matters.
