Mold has apparently become a problem in the Taylor County Judicial Center building. Taylor County Fiscal Court met in special session Monday afternoon, August 20th, and terminated the contract of Ernie Breeding and A-M-C who had the maintenance contract for the building. The Administrative Office of the Courts had the Taylor County Judicial Center Building tested for mold resulting in high levels of mold being found in two of the courtrooms. At high enough levels mold can cause significant allergy, respiratory and other problems. Several people who work in the Taylor County Judicial Center building have reported some type of respiratory issue.
