Two people are dead and a third person was taken to a Louisville hospital as a result of a two car accident on Highway 210 in Taylor County Sunday evening, August 12th. According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened when a 2015 Volkswagen operated by 21 year old Brandon Henry of Campbellsville collided head-on with a 2008 Chrysler driven by 53 year old Mark Isham of London, Kentucky. Henry was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital where he died a short time later. Isham was pronounced dead at the scene. Another occupant in the Henry car, Katelyn Carnes of Glendale, was flown from the scene to University of Louisville Hospital. According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, witnesses at the scene stated that Henry was westbound on 210, then entered the eastbound lane attempting to pass three vehicles in a no-passing zone but, before he could return to the westbound lane, Isham approached in the eastbound lane resulting in both attempting to avoid the other by traveling into the eastbound emergency lane and colliding head-on. The accident happened around 6:15 P.M. Eastern time.
