New developments in connection with the search for 27 year old Shawn Richard Christy, the McAdoo, Pennsylvania man accused of making threats against the President of the United States, other elected officials and Adair County native Dakota Meyer. Kentucky State Police are reporting that Thursday evening, August 9th, at approximately 6:23 P.M. Dakota Meyers’ brother, Timothy Gilliam, arrived home at his residence on Brockman Keltner Road in the Portland – Milltown section of Adair County and found that the front door had been kicked in. Kentucky State Police responded and cleared the residence finding that someone had stolen food out of the refrigerator and a green, 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a black hood out of a detached garage. Gilliam showed State Police officers surveillance video which appeared to show Shawn Richard Christy being the perpetrator. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds with short, dark blonde hair, a beard and a tattoo of a cross on his upper right arm. Federal law enforcement is offering a cash reward of up to 15,000 dollars for information leading to the direct arrest of Christy. Any information will be considered confidential.
