A one vehicle accident Friday, May 25th, in Marion County left two people dead. According to Kentucky State Police the accident happened when a 2008 Ford F-250 pickup truck operated by 18 year old David B. Lawson of Lebanon ran off the road and struck a tree. Lawson was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger in the truck, 21 year old old Shelby Goode of Saint Francis, was airlifted to University of Louisville hospital and was later pronounced dead by the Jefferson County Coroner. A third person in the vehicle, 19 year old Jeremiah Moore of Lebanon, was admitted to Springview Hospital in Lebanon with non-life threatening injuries. The accident happened around 11:15 P.M. six miles west of Lebanon on East Lovers Lane in Marion County.
