A Taylor County man has been indicted in connection with a two vehicle crash in November of 2017 that resulted in the death of a LaRue County woman. Monday, May 21st, the LaRue County Grand Jury in Hodgenville indicted 33 year old Matthew L. Howsden of Campbellsville on charges of murder, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to render aid. Its being alleged that Howsden was operating a 2013 Chevy Equinox S-U-V west bound on Highway 210 in LaRue County when it veered into the oncoming lane colliding with an east bound 2010 Nissan Altima driven by 28 year old Stephanie Jansen of Magnolia who was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s being alleged that Howsden fled the scene on foot. The accident happened shortly before 10 P.M. Eastern time the night of Saturday, November 18th, 2017.
