One person was arrested Sunday, March 18th, after the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a break-in on Elkhorn Road in Taylor County. According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office the owner of a wood working shop confronted a person who had broken into the shop resulting in the perpetrator running to a location next door. A Taylor County sheriff’s deputy made contact with Ronnie Philpott who was hiding under a porch. Philpott was taken into custody and charged with burglary in the second degree. He was lodged in the Taylor County Jail.
