The Green County Board of Education met Thursday morning, March 1st, to continue the process of selecting a new Superintendent for Green County Schools to replace Jim Frank who will be retiring from that position effective at the end of the day on June 30th. The board received three recommendations from the Superintendent screening committee. Those were Amanda Abell, assistant Superintendent for the Caverna Independent School District, Mike Griffiths, Principal of the Success Academy in the Green County School District and Will Hodges, Assistant Superintendent and Director of Finance for the Green County School District. All three of those individuals will be interviewed before a final decision is made.
