First district U.S. Representative James Comer and 2nd district U.S. Representative Brett Guthrie have announced the beginning of the 2018 Congressional Art Competition. This is an annual high school art contest held by each member of the U.S. House of Representatives in their respective districts. Among other things the winner from each district will have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. The deadline to have an entry in is slightly different for each district but both deadlines are coming up in April. For more information about that as well as rules and other information including where to drop off entries or send entries to, persons can go to the website of the congressman representing the district they live in, click on services and then select art competition from the drop down menu.
