Friday, March 2nd is World Day of Prayer.  Beginning at sunrise in the Pacific, services will be held all over the world.  The
women of Campbellsville will lead the local service at 7:00 p.m. at Bethel First Presbyterian Church located at 502 East

Taylor Regional Hospital will present a Pediatric First Aid Course
March 9th from 8:00 a.m. until noon. The class will provide
the participant with a sound foundation in the techniques of pediatric first aid.  Upon completion of the course, particpants
will receive completions certificate.   The classes are taught at the Taylor Regional Hospital Learning and Resource Center

The H.O.M.E. Program will be hosting a free "Within our Reach" couples relationship workshop

The Campbellsville University School of Music will be hosting a Hymn Keyboard Festival on
Saturday, March 24 for local
and regional piano students.  
The festival is designed for children and youth in grades 1-12 and will begin at 10 a.m. in the Gosser Fine Arts Center at
210 University Drive.
The purpose of the festival is to give participants anopportunity to play hymns and hymn arrangements for an adjudicator
and small audiences in a setting similar to that experienced every week in Sunday services.  
The goal is to encourage developing young pianists in building keyboard skills appropriate for use in worship services.
Four categories of playing skills have been set up for student participation.  
Each participant must have a completed registration form and non-refundable fee mailed directly to the School of Music.
The festival fee for each student is $15. For families with more than one child participating at the same location, the fee for
each additional child in the immediate family will be $10.
The registration deadline is
Friday, Feb. 24.

Taylor County High School’s after school program, Fit 4 Life, is offering FREE personal training classes on Tuesday and
Thursday afternoons from 3:15-5:15. The classes are being instructed by Debbie Gowdy-Smith and are held in the TCHS
Fitness Lab. If you are associated with the Taylor County Schools and would be interested in attending these free classes,

Campbellsville University Wrestling is now accepting applications for its 2012 Next Level Wrestling Camps, which will be
June 10-12 and June 21-24 at CU’s Gosser Gymnasium.

The Tiger wrestling program will host a technique camp June 10-12 at a cost of $200 per camper. Each camper will receive
instruction from three-time Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year Franky James, as well as seven CU wrestlers –
including three collegiate national champions.

Following the technique camp will be the Team Duels/Competition Camp, June 21-24. Teams can register 10 wrestlers for  
a cost of $2,000 or individuals can register for $250 each to attend the four-day camp.

CU wrestlers helping with the camp are four-time state champion and collegiate national champion Brandon Westerman,
two-time NJCAA national champ Jamelle Jones, NAIA national champion Tommy Pretty, two-time All-American Spencer
Adams, two-time national qualifier Conor Young, Kyle Terry and Dee Leavell.
