A Taylor County man has been arrested in connection with the hold-up of a Campbellsville business Saturday, June 30th. According to Campbellsville Police 50 year old Michael H. Adams of Campbellsville has been arrested and charged with robbery in the first degree and attempted rape in the first degree. It’s being alleged that Adams entered Trendsetters Consignment at 109 Nancy Cox Drive in Campbellsville armed with a gun, held a female clerk at gunpoint and attempted to rape her, then made off with money from the business. Campbellsville Police say a witness was able to get a license plate number from Adams’ vehicle which led to his residence on Crescent Hill Drive in Campbellsville. Adams was lodged in the Taylor County Jail. The clerk was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries received as a result of this incident.
