State Police are reporting several drug related arrests being made in the Post 15 area Sunday, June 24th.
Two arrests were made after a search of a residence and a vehicle 5 miles north of Summersville on Rountree Court in Green County. State Police say 30 year old Emily Wheatley and 21 year old Samuel Mudd, both of Lebanon, were arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine after a bag with white powdered residue and a small package believed to contain methamphetamine were located inside the vehicle. Both were lodged in the Taylor County Jail.
Two arrests were made after a traffic stop on a 1995 Toyota pickup truck on Knob Lick Road in Metcalfe County. State Police say 44 year old Stephen Tennant of Burkesville and 43 year old Tammy Lynn Thomas of Livingston, Tennessee were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine after a small plastic bag containing a white powdered substance believed to be methamphetamine was located inside the truck which was operated by Tennant. Both were lodged in the Barren County Jail.
One arrest was made after a traffic stop on a 2010 Kia automobile on Bengal Road in Taylor County. State Police say 20 year old Kern Kost of Campbellsville was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana after a large amount of marijuana was found inside the automobile in which Kost was a passenger. He was lodged in the Taylor County Jail.
