The Green County Board of Education met in regular session Thursday night, March 8th, at the board’s offices in Greensburg. Among actions taken by the board was the selection of a new Superintendent for the district. The board voted unanimously to hire current Green County School System Finance Officer and Assistant Superintendent Will Hodges for that position. Hodges will officially take over July 1st. Current Green County School System Superintendent Jim Frank will be retiring from that position effective at the end of the day on June 30th. Hodges is a 1995 graduate of Green County High School. He did his undergraduate work at Cumberland College and Campbellsville University and his graduate work at Campbellsville University and Eastern Kentucky University.
